Daily Open Play Pickleball

Come play pickleball with us everyday from 12 – 2 p.m.  All levels invited.  The fee is only $5.00 per session.  In addition you can purchase a Monthly Pickleball Membership that covers 30 days of Open Play for $50.  This is a month-to-month contract. 

Also, we use playtime scheduler to alert people about the open play.   Indeed, you can just show up as well.  You have complete access to our active pickleball and tennis center with your monthly pickleball membership or your daily fee.

You can enjoy lots of pickleball on the convenient indoor tennis court surface. No wind, rain or sunshine to mess with your game.

TENNIS TRAINING

Our Tennis Center

At our Tennis Center, we offer two US Open blue courts, each equipped with top-of-the-line lighting for an optimal playing experience. Guests can schedule court time, join our clinics, or participate in open play sessions. Both pickleball and tennis are available to resort guests and those visiting the peninsula.

Court Fees and Reservations

  • Court Time: Resort guests pay just $24 per net per hour.
  • Reservations: You can reserve court time 24 hours in advance by contacting guest services at the front desk.

Facility Features

  • Spacious Area: The tennis center spans over 13,200 square feet.
  • Versatile Courts: Two tennis courts with an overlay of six pickleball courts.
  • Equipment Provided: Tennis racquets, pickleball paddles, and balls are available at no cost.

Attire and Maintenance

To maintain the quality of our courts, please wear proper workout attire, including non-marking court shoes. This ensures our courts remain in excellent condition for both pickleball and tennis.

Meet Our Pickleball and Tennis Pro: Roman Sada

Roman Sada brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Lighthouse Oceanfront Resort. Hailing from Boca Raton, FL, Roman began his tennis journey at the age of five in Prague, Czech Republic. He advanced to join the Czech National Junior Team and competed in ATP Futures Tournaments worldwide.

At 23, Roman started his coaching career at some of the world’s most prestigious academies, including IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy, Chris Evert Academy, and Boca Raton Resort and Club. He was the exclusive coach for the children of four-time women’s Grand Slam winner Hana Mandlikova at that tennis center.

Before joining us, Roman served as the Director of Tennis at The Bridges in Boca Raton, FL, where he coached multiple women’s and men’s teams. Now, he passionately coaches and teaches all ages and skill levels at Lighthouse Oceanfront Resort, dedicated to fostering a thriving pickleball and tennis community on the Peninsula. Dinko De Mayo Tourney

This tournament is focused on players spending a relaxing extended weekend at the beach and playing lots of pickleball at this fantastic resort so you’ll want to return again and again. There will be fun, food (anyone like tacos and beer?), and plenty of pickleball games. Courts are open to play until 11 p.m. each night.

Cranberry Bog Battle

This tourney is a fan favorite and consequently if fills up fast. We encourage signing up quickly. It is true that we have two divisions: 60+ and 15+
