Bike to the North Head Lighthouse

Start your journey at the sign marking “The World’s Longest Beach,” where ample parking awaits. Follow the paved path southward, embracing the ocean’s closeness and the refreshing sea breeze caressing your face as your wheels glide over the paved terrain. Pass through clusters of trees, catching sight of a striking rugged rock formation along the way. Soon, you’ll encounter a parking lot; proceed straight ahead, crossing the road. Prepare for a gentle uphill stretch leading you to the trail’s apex. After crossing another road, you’ll find yourself on the direct route to the lighthouse. For an added thrill as you approach the parking circle, consider veering right for a rewarding ascent to a magnificent lookout point. Restrooms are available in the parking area, and remember as a cyclist, you’re exempt from the $10 daily fee. Continue toward the lighthouse, and the path will guide you to a scenic overlook. A pathway leads to a charming small store, offering a delightful stroll-through experience.
